A must have!

This book is excellent! I've been studying Mandarin for about nine months now and I must say that this is a must have for any intermediate/advanced Mandarin learner. All sentences are written using pinyin, simplified and traditional characters for each and every example. Also, this workbook has an answer key for all the questions which is so convenient. It doesn't get any easier to study out of a workbook than this! I'm really happy with my purchase.

Useful for students who are used to learning new languages based on a set of rules for grammar. The exercises are easy enough for beginners (1st course in Chinese) and clear so students can learn the basic vocabulary in the process. Overall a good book for starting out in Chinese. Equivalent to 1st grade Chinese in Asian countries.
